Login Problems

If you cannot login, please check that the rear of the machine has a network cable attached and that both ends of the cable (connectors) are firmly placed into their sockets, and that the PC shows a network connection light next to the socket. Look for a blinking orange or red signal from the other LED, which indicates that the PC is sending or receiving data from the network. If not, please call the help desk for further instruction.

If you have link lights, press [Ctrl] [Alt] [Del] and try and login. If you have forgotten your password, please take your staff ID card to any of the LC desks after some checks they will call IT Support and the password will then be changed.

If you still experience difficulty with the login, turn off the PC completely, leave it switched off for ten seconds and re-boot, try again, and if still no login, call the help desk for assistance.
